He was preceded in death by his mother, Betty Seay McDaniel Cates; grandmothers, Kathaleen Spurgeon and Amanda McDaniel and great grandmother, Lennie Crittenden.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Tina Kay McDaniel; daughters, Alishia and Shane Green and Kandace and Caleb Turner; grandson, Elijah Scott Green and special unborn granddaughter, Emerson Lynn Turner; father, Jimmy McDaniel; brothers, Mike McDaniel and Greg McDaniel; brothers-in-law, Rodney Brooks and Jimmy and Sherri Brooks; special mother-in-law, Shirley Jennings; special nephew, Hunter McDaniel, and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, host of friends and special companion, Smokey.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 7, 2018 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with the Rev. Terry Bunch and the Pastor Joey Horn officiating. The family will receive friends on Monday, May 7 from 6 to 8 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Tuesday, May 8 in Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home.
