He retired from TVA John Sevier Power Plant. He loved to hunt and fish, play his guitar and sing with his friends at Music Junction in the City Parks and Recreation Building in Rogersville, his past time were his guns, he loved to go and shoot with his friends at the shooting ranges in various locations.
He was preceded in death by his brother: Charles Elkins, two sisters: Patsy Alliston and Betty Humphries.
Paul is survived by his wife, Patsy Walker Elkins, four children: Rose Herrin, Teresa Clark Trent, Mark Elkins , wife Debbie, and Scott Elkins; step-son: Randy Winstead, and wife Cristi. Sister-in-law: Paulene Holt, brother-in-law: Wayne Carr and wife, Faye. Several grandchildren and great grandchildren; special grandchildren and little buddies: Logan Krajewski, Brayden and Hayes Lord; special little girlfriends: Alexis and Ryleigh Krajewski, they knew him as little papaw. Several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
A special thank you to his caregivers, Randy, Cristi, Paulene, Corey, Bethany, Rose, Daniel and Becca.
May he rest in peace.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 31, 2022 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 PM at Stubblefield Funeral Home, with services to follow.
