Mary Sue Baker

Mary Sue Baker, age 82, of Morristown, went to be with the Lord on Friday, May 11, 2012 at Jefferson Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Highland Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband, Gordon Earl Baker; parents, Lawrence and Lena Perdue; and brother, Boonie Perdue.

Survivors include her sons, Ronald Baker of Mooresburg, Johnny (Sue) Baker of Rutledge; daughters, Carol (Jackie) Burgin of Bean Station, Sandra Bible of Knoxville; sister, Delores Prowell of Bean Station; grandchildren, Chad Baker, Craig Baker, Kileen Bible, Chris Baker, Marcus Burgin; six great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 14, 2012 at 8:00 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with Rev Terry Bunch officiating. Family and friends will meet at the funeral home on Tuesday at 10:30 a.m. to go in procession to Hamblen Memory Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. graveside service. The family will receive friends on Monday evening from 6 – 8:00 p.m. prior to the services at the funeral home.
