She was born January 29, 1933 to Wesley Guy and Betty Beulah (McGoldrick) Smith.
She was preceded in death by her daughter-in-law: Betty Sliger, sisters: Edith (Tommy) Brown, Margaret (Bill) Moore and Ollie (John) Hodges and brother: Bill (Linda) Smith.
She is survived her husband of 64 years, Claude Henry "CH" Trent, and was mom to Dwayne (Carol) Sliger, Scott (Brenda) Sliger, Kathy Sliger and Eddie Sliger. And mamaw to April (Jeremy) Harbin, Nicole "CoCo" Sliger, Will (Beth) Sliger, Drew Sliger, Grant Sliger, Josie and Davie-Grace Harbin, Barrett and Arden Sliger.
Graveside services will be 2:00 PM, Wednesday, March 1, 2023 in Hamblen Memory Gardens, Rev. Tim Collins officiating.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Adriel Missionary Baptist Church.
