Loretta Welch

Loretta Beulah Welch, age 82, of Mooresburg, TN was born on Feb. 3, 1943 and passed away at her home on Tuesday, April 15, 2025 with her loving family by her side. She was saved as a teenager and attended James Chapel Church faithfully as long as she was physically able.

Loretta had a genuinely kind and pure heart that shined through her radiant smile and her loving actions. She will be greatly missed by all whom she was a light of goodness to. She loved her home and her family. She enjoyed gardening and her freezer and pantry was always full of her bountiful harvests. She was always more concerned for those around her than she was for herself. She was such a treasure to her family and will be sorely missed.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Welch, whom she she faithfully loved and adored for 56 years. She was also preceded in death by her parents: Donald and Jessie Wolfe. Loretta is survived by her sisters: Edna Wear (Arlie), Sharon Myers (Boyd) and Debbie Baird (David); brother: Donald Wolfe, Jr (Myrna); sister-in-law: Thelma McGinnis; nieces: Linda Johnson, Sandy Wear, April Ellis, Jessica Worthington, Christy Waller, Sue Young, Jane Young, Debbie McGinnis and Gail Nicely; nephews: Adam Myers and Phillip Wolfe. Several great nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be Friday, April 18, 2025 from 5:00 PM until 7:00 pm at Stubblefield Funeral Home. Funeral services will follow at 7:00 with Rev. Phil Seaton and Rev. Kevin Roberts officiating. Graveside services will be held at Hamblen Memory Gardens on Saturday, April 19, 2025 at 11:00 AM
