Jonathan Young

Jonathan Young age 29 of Bulls Gap, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, September 30, 2012 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He was a member of Temple Baptist Church. He was a member of the Bulls Gap Volunteer Fire Department and Town of Mosheim # 11. Jonathan was a 3rd degree Mason in the Masonic Lodge 764 in Bulls Gap. He was saved and Baptized in 1993. Jonathan never met a stranger. He greeted people with a warm smile and lived his life to help others. He was preceded in death by his father; Bobby Young, grandparents; Noah and Nellie Young and John Bell, great grandparents; Arvelle and Bessie Sweet and best friends; Lee Ray and Lee Shiflet. He is survived by his wife; Heather Green Young, daughter; Ramsey Alizabeth Young, son; Brody Lane Young, mother and father; Nadine and Steve Hopkins, mother-in-law; Debbie Green and friend Jimmy Shelton, father-in-law and step mother-in-law; Stanley and Mary Green, brothers; Joe (Kara) Young and Jesse Young and girlfriend Summer Fawcett, niece; Emily Young, nephew; Mason Young, maternal grandparents; Denville and Della Patterson, Edith and James Southerland and Paul and Faye Hopkins, paternal grandparents; Betty Green and the late John Green, several aunts, uncles, cousins and a host of friends. The family will receive friends on Tuesday, October 2, 2012 from 4 to 8 p.m. in the chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home with a Masonic Service at 8:00 p.m. with Bulls Gap Masonic Lodge # 764 officiating. Funeral services will follow the Masonic Service with the Rev. Richard Long officiating. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, October 3, 2012 in Tieke Cemetery in Bulls Gap for and 11:00 a.m. graveside service. Pallbearers will be: Brent Gregg, Chuckey Johnson, Jesse Williams, Allen “Big Al” Long, Jeff Sexton and Chris Sexton. Honorary pallbearers will be members of the Bulls Gap Volunteer Fire Department, Town of Mosheim and Bulls Gap Masonic Lodge # 764. Arrangements by Stubblefield Funeral Home in Morristown, Tennessee.
