My name is Brandy, I wanted to send my condolences to the family.   My heart is so very  saddened by  Randy's passing.  I also must tell you all about the Randy that I know and love,  a man of many colors and wore them all very well.   J.R.B was my very close friend in recent years.  Randy could make me laugh no matter what was going on in my life,  and it's not so much that he could, it's that he cared enough to try!    He was there for my dear friend  and i always!    I  liked to just sit back and listen to all of the stories he had to tell,  he was inpirational to say the least.   Randy taught me a lot of things,  one being about all of the trees and plants, he knew the scientific names of them all.   No matter what I could always count on him to be there for me.  I  wish that I could have been back home in the recent months,  to be the friend he was so graciously  to me,  back to him.  You will  be remembered Always  and if course, loved to the Moon!!!!

Today I remember a  funny, compassionate warrior I had the honor of serving with in the Army.  The last time I remember seeing Ranger Barbee  he was quickly coming out of the woods during a navigation course at Ft Bragg. He had a great sense of humor and was friendly to everyone. He will never be forgotten. RLTW!

A great Ranger. I had the privilege and honor to serve as Sergeant Barbee's 1SG in the 1st Ranger Battalion. Sergeant Barbee had the toughness, motivation, and professional attitude that served to inspire other Rangers to keep moving when the mission was at its toughest. R.I. P. Ranger Barbee. RLTW . I met Randy at my wife’s family reunions years ago. He was always kind, respectful and attentive to our needs. He was always glad to see us and full of humor. In visiting his home for family gatherings he always made you feel welcome and at home. He was the type of man that would do anything to help you. I consider it an honor and privilege to call him a friend.  RIP my friend

Randy was my nephew and although I haven’t been to family reunions in several years I will surely miss him. He was always kind, respectful and expressed joy in seeing me. He had a wonderful personality and always full of humerus comments. He was definitely one of a kind. May you RIP

Randy was like a brother to me.We shared so many childhood memories at our grandma and grandpa Barbees  at my house or his.Randy will be missed by many friends and family.RIP

Randy not only my cousin but my best friend growing up. We had so much fun when we was kids and we got into so much trouble. Like the time we stole the chickens from Junior and Mayford Barbee and they shot at us...Man we had fun..When we got older we sure did put back alot of chicken wings and beers and had us some good laughs. Loved you like a brother.. You will truly be missed. Rick

Where do you start when your memories go back to birth? Randy and I probably spent more time together in our first 20 years than either of us did with any other people including our own families. In 1980, he went into the Army and I went to work with TVA in Alabama but almost every leave he got, he came to visit me. 
Over the years our paths went in different directions but we kept in contact and eventually both of us returned to Morristown where we remained friends til his death. RIP Brother

So many memories I can't even count.  We had so many fun times together, either in our yard or his. We were cousins but also friends. You will surely be missed.  Love to all if the family.
