Donald R Clevenger

Donald R. Clevenger, age 71, of Morristown, passed away on Saturday, November 21, 2020 at Morristown-Hamblen Healthcare System. He served in the United States Army and did two tours in Vietnam. He was a member of the VFW Post #5266. Preceding him in death was his loving wife, Barbara S Clevenger; grandson, Joshua Paynter; parents, Lige and Jewel Clevenger; and twin brother, Ronald Clevenger.

Survivors include his children, Charles Clevenger, Amy Paynter and Wendy (Brad) Honeycutt; grandchildren, Danny (Brittany) Bise, Megan Bise, Jesse Paynter, Lillie Sessums, Jeremiah Sessums, Kirsten (Blake) Seals and Blake Honeycutt; great-grandchildren, Tyson Bise, Elijah Carr, and Bailee Kate Seals; siblings, Mike (Margie) Clevenger and Susie Ferguson; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, November 24, 2020 from 5:00-7:00 p.m. in the Chapel of Stubblefield Funeral Home. Family and friends will meet in Hamblen Memory Gardens at the Prayer Mausoleum at 10:45 a.m. on Wednesday, November 25, 2020 for an 11:00 a.m. entombment service. Dr Keith Mowery will officiate. The Tennessee National Guard and VFW Post #5266 will provide military honors.
