He was born to the late Harley and Dorothy Myers Harris on June 27, 1949 in Marion. Mr. Harris was a veteran of the United States Army.
Those left to cherish his memory include his daughters, Christa Waterhouse and husband Mark of NY and Jessie Harris of Old Fort; special niece, Rebecca Matthews and husband Darren of Old Fort; brothers and sisters, Judy Lavender and husband Gary of KY, Kay Justice and husband David of Nebo, Dennis Harris of Marion, and Kenny Harris and wife Debbie of Maiden; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Sam will always be remembered by his family and friends for his love of being outdoors and willingness to help anyone in need. He was loved by many and will be greatly missed
