Robin Lucinda Berry

Ms. Robin Lucinda Berry, of Valdese, went home to be with the Lord, Sunday, May 15, 2016. Born July 17, 1961, in Burke County, she was the daughter of the late Kenneth Berry and Mary Magdalene Kincaid Berry. .

Ms. Berry was a member of the Mt. Zion Baptist Church, Valdese, where she served as a member of the children’s and spiritual choir. Ms. Berry enjoyed playing basketball and tennis. Ms. Berry graduated from Shaw University with a degree in Music. Ms. Berry was a devoted employee of the United States Postal Service. Her memory will be cherished by four brothers, Kenneth Berry, Jr. and wife, Caroyl, of Savannah, GA, Lester Berry and wife, Chamari, of Kuwait, Malcom Berry and wife, Terri, of Newport News, VA and Tracy Berry, of Valdese; four aunts, Dolly Currie of South River, NJ, Nellie Daves of Valdese, Mary Harbison of Valdese and Margie Ervin of Woodbridge, VA; and a uncle, Stanley Berry and wife Ruby Berry. She is also survived six nieces and nephews, a host of cousins, other relatives and friends will also cherish her memory.

Funeral Services will be held 2:00 pm, Saturday, May 21, 2016 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with the Reverend Kenneth Falls officiating. Interment will follow at the Mt. Zion Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the services at the Church.
