Manuel Jerome Brittain

Manuel loved his family and his church family, he dedicated his life to God, his church, and his wife of 63 years Eunice.

Manuel was born November 30, 1931 to the late Carl Jerome Brittain and Annie Chapman Brittain. He was a humble Christian and longtime member of Denton’s Chapel United Methodist Church. Manuel was extremely proud of his 20 years of honorable service in the United States Air Force.

Manuel was preceded in death by his beloved wife, Eunice Waldrop Brittain, and a sister, Margaret Pugh.

Those left behind to cherish Manuel's memory include his three siblings, Carl Richard Brittain and his wife Linda of Mt. Airy, Mable Bowers and her husband Lee of Pawley’s Island, SC and Emmett Brittain and his wife Pattie of Morganton. Also surviving are numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives, fellow service members and friends.

Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM on Saturday, November 26, 2022 in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home with Rev. Jimmie "JR" Richards officiating. Military Honors will be provided by the United States Air Force. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home. Interment will follow at Burke Memorial Park.
