Diann Irene Knauss

Diann Irene Kingsley Knauss, age 73, of Morganton, passed away at her residence on Thursday, December 22, 2022. She was born the daughter of the late Phillip Kingsley and Hazel Burdick Kingsley on November 27,1949 in Scotia, NY.

Along with her parents, Diann is preceded in death by two sisters, Dawn Kingsley and Donna Putman.

Those left behind to cherish Diann's memory include her husband Richard A. Knauss of the home, a daughter, Crystal Knauss (Phil) of Morganton; a son, Eddie Knauss (Caroline) of Hickory; two brothers, Donald Kingsley (Pat) of Charleton, NY and Dennis Kingsley (Kim) of Gansevoort, NY; two sisters, Drucilla Duval of Marlboro, MA and Dale Carroll of Schenectady, NY; a brother-in-law, Teddy Knauss; and her special caregiver, Angela Khalil of Maine. She is also survived by numerous other relatives and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, January 11, 2023 in the Chapel of Kirksey Funeral Home with Pastor Doug Goforth officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home one hour prior to the service.
