Cindy Rene (Zook) Wethington, age 67, of Morganton, passed away during the night on Wednesday, September 24, 2024. Cindy served her country honorably in the USMC. She enjoyed bowling, fishing and playing cards.
Cindy was preceded in death by her parents, Carolyn and Roger Zook; her husband, Gene Wethington; her brother, Randy Zook; and her paternal and maternal grandparents.
Those left behind to cherish Cindy's memory include two sons, Joshua Sisk and his wife Andrea, and Jason Sisk and his wife Amy; a step-daughter, Brandy Tormey; and a step-son, Bubby Wethington. Cindy is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and friends.
A private service will be held at a later date.
