November 29, 1963 – November 14, 2010
Carolyn Theresa Arceneaux, 46, a lifelong resident of Morgan City, left this life Sunday, November 14, 2010 at Terrebonne General Medical Center in Houma.
Carolyn was a lively, friendly, outgoing spirit that never met a stranger. She loved to dance, play cards with friends and enjoyed her work and co-workers at Arden Enterprises (ACE Transportation) where she was employed. She cooked and cared for her husband of 30 years and the two sons they brought into this world. They all agreed that she was a good cook and didn’t have a mean bone in her body. Carolyn loved her family and was recently blessed with a granddaughter, Mary Grace Marie Arceneaux, that she could enjoy spoiling.
She is survived by her husband Troy Arceneaux of Morgan City; sons Brandon and his wife Kimberly of Patterson and Gregory and his companion Kayla Mire of Berwick; one granddaughter Mary Grace Marie Arceneaux; a brother R. J. Menard, Jr., his son and her God-son, Seth John Menard; a sister Nedra M. Daigle of Patterson and her in-laws, Kenneth and Shirley Arceneaux of Morgan City.
Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents R. J. Sr., and Marie Gregory Menard.
A time of remembrance and reflection will be Wednesday, November 17, 2010 from 8:00 a.m. until 10:30 a.m. at Hargrave Funeral Home and a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:00 a.m. at Holy Cross Catholic Church.
She will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
