Adele Domangue Granier was born on August 13, 1930 to the late Lionel Paul and Lilly Fangue Domangue in Morgan City, Louisiana. She passed away peacefully on July 12, 2022 surrounded by her loving family.
Adele was a long-time resident of Morgan City, Louisiana until she moved to Texas five years ago. She loved to pack up the RV and hit the road to travel with her late husband. She also enjoyed crocheting, needlework and embroidery. Her greatest joys were being with her family.
Adele is survived by her daughter, Janet Lauland and husband Mike; three grandchildren, Craig, Lisa and Brad Granier; four great grandchildren, Sarah, David, Celia, and Ella Granier and a host of other relatives and friends.
She is preceded in death by her husband of 74 years, Wallace Granier; parents, Lionel Paul and Lilly Fangue Domangue; son, David Granier; daughter, Eileen Granier; brother, Lionel J. Domangue; sisters, Lucille Thibodaux and Ouida Accardo.
In a lieu of flowers a donation can be made to Pharr Chapel United Method Church.
Family and friends of Adele are invited to attend the Visitation at Pharr Chapel United Methodist Church on Saturday, July 16, 2022 beginning at 10:00 AM until time of service at 11:00 AM. Adele will be laid to rest in the Morgan City Cemetery.
