Angela Marie Minogue passed away in her home on Tuesday, November 21, surrounded by family and loved ones. She was 73. Angela is survived by her husband of 43 years, Timothy, their daughters Lauren Gurien and Melissa Windecker, and granddaughters Zoe, Quinn, and Eleanor. She was preceded in death by her parents, Angelo and Virginia Carrancio. She had retired in 2018 following a long career in the legal field.
In addition to her husband, children and grandchildren, Angela leaves behind her siblings Rita, Dianne, Noreen, Angelo and Karen, and a beloved and indefatigable group of friends. Her final days were buoyed by the compassion and support of those she loved so fiercely.
Angela’s lifelong love of the Hudson River began with swimming in childhood, later it included sailing while dating Tim and afternoons at the Riverfront playground with her young children. In her later years, she was devoted to the River Walk, where she found both peace in the natural beauty and fellowship in the community who joined her on the walks, by design or by chance. She will be remembered for her seemingly endless capacity to help her friends and family, even those friends she had only just met.
A visitation for Angela will be held Monday, November 27, 2023 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Edward F. Carter, 170 Kings Ferry Rd, Montrose, New York 10548. A Funeral Mass will be celebrated Tuesday, November 28, 2023 at 10:15 AM at Church of the Holy Spirit, 1969 Crompond Rd, Cortlandt Manor, New York 10567. Committal is private
