GABBOUR, Rami 1963 - 2017 It is with great sorrow that the family announces the untimely passing of Rami Gabbour in Montreal on November 29, 2017 at the age of 54. Rami will be sadly missed by his beloved wife Leslie McCool; his loving children Bradley, Amy and Kyle; his father Iskandar Gabbour (Alice Azar); sister May Gabbour (Stephen Granleese); brother Tamer Gabbour (Gaëlle Gabbour), sister-in-law Leigh McCool (Nino Guerriero); and nephews and nieces George, Alexander, Christopher, Annie, Ashleigh, and Drew. He will also be greatly missed by his aunts and uncles Yasmine and Fahmi Haroun; Afaf Attalla; Fouad and Nora Surur; and Nora George along with cousins Farid (Lara), Nadim, Nadine (Dan), Corinne (Jean Marc), and Paul (Imke). He was predeceased by his cherished mother Amy Gabbour (née Surur); uncles Fares Attalla and William George; and father and mother-in-law James and Phyllis McCool. Rami was a devoted and loving husband, father, son, brother, nephew, and cousin who cherished all his family near and far. He also held dear his many friends including those from childhood; new friends; friends made through sports, especially hockey; and his work family. Rami's kindness, easygoing personality, and love of life will be forever remembered by all those whose lives he touched. All are welcome to attend and celebrate our beloved Rami's life. Visitation will take place on Friday, December 8, 2017 from 2:00 - 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 - 10:00 p.m. at Collins Clarke MacGillivray White Funeral Home (5610 Sherbrooke Street West, Montreal, QC H4A 1W5). Funeral Service on Saturday, December 9, 2017, 12:00pm at St. Ignatius of Loyola Church (4455 West Broadway, Montreal, QC H4B 2A7). Followed by Interment at Notre-Dame-des-Neiges Cemetery (4601 Côte des Neiges Road, Montreal, QC H3V 1E7). Following interment a reception will be held at the Funeral Home. Those wishing to go directly from the funeral service to the reception are welcome to do so.
