It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our dearest nonno, Luigi Evangelista, on Sunday morning, January 29th, 2017. Beloved husband of Antonia (D'Agostino), with whom he shared 67 years of marriage. Loving father of Anna and Frank (Dawn Auchinleck). Grandfather of Margo (Ronan Shaughnessy), Gérard (Heather Baillie), Sarah (Devin O'Grady), Franca (Orlando Gentile), Aimeé, Sandra (Jean-Pierre Bahous), and Amanda. He left behind six great-grandchildren, Lily, Ella, Ashton, Eva, Vincenzo and Clara.
The family will receive condolences at Côte-des-Neiges Funeral Home, 4525 ch. de la Côte-des-Neiges, Montréal, QC, H3V 1E7, on Thursday, February 2nd, from 2 to 5 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. A service will be held at the funeral home's chapel on Friday, February 3rd at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Québec Lung Association.
