With sadness we share the news that after facing recent health challenges over the past 3 months, Kent passed away peacefully in his 88th year in Montreal. He will be missed by his companion Charlotte Sokolovski, friends and family.
After graduating from Westmount High School in Montreal he received his Bachelor of Chemical Engineering from McGill University. He spent the majority of his life in Montreal where he was a loyal member of the Montreal Skeet Club. After retiring from Dupont he spent much time golfing, fishing and duck hunting.
Kent is survived by his sister Margaret (Bill Terry) and cousin Beverley Hamilton, and his daughter Deborah (Jeff Crook), and grandchildren Hanna and Aiden. He was predeceased by his son Graham (d 2019). His wishes are to be buried in a private ceremony at the Mount Royal Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be sent to the McGill University Health Centre Foundation at www.muhcfoundation.com
