So sorry to hear of Anna’s death. I knew Anna in England in 1971-2. She was friends with Denise Nadeau and had a sister Rosalie. I’ve never forgotten Anna, her intellect, her skills with languages and pure maths, her mischievous nature. Four Australians and Anna went by van to Morocco in 1972. We made Anna negotiate with Spanish soldiers when we were stopped- they wanted American cigarettes- even tho she didn’t speak Spanish-she said Italian was close enough! Never forgot you Anna. She was always so uplifting and optimistic when her brother Bobby and I were growing up. I’ve just come into Montreal and sorry I missed the ceremonies in her honour.

Dear Don and Family,
I was shocked and devastated when I heard of Anna's death from a Sacred Heart friend. Anna was one of the most generous souls I have known, her spirit indomitable and her energy effervescent , even during the difficult last years.  She was a great friend during our younger years and I regret that the pandemic did not allow me to return to Montreal to visit in the last two years. The last time I saw Anna at the cottage, we both were crocheting and enjoying Happy Hour.

I first knew Anna at the Convent of the Sacred Heart where she was a year ahead of me. Later on we connected through the Junior League of Montreal and the Auxiliaries of the MUHC. She was a wonderful  friend who will be greatly missed !!
