Wilma Jean Millican

Wilma Jean Millican, age 92, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024. She was born in Hamilton, Alabama. Wilma was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Joe Millican and her daughter and son-in-law, Charlotte (Hal) Jones. She is survived by her grandchildren, Nicole (David) Merritt and Leigh Heufel, and her great grandchildren, Elliott Merritt and Charlotte Merritt.

Mrs. Millican worked as a receiving clerk at Gayfers but will be remembered as a homemaker who took great care of her family. She enjoyed camping and planned many trips with the Heart of Dixie Camping Club. Always active in her local church, she was a part of Eastern Meadows Church of Christ in her last days. Her memory will be treasured by all who knew her.

A family and friends visitation for Wilma will be held Monday, October 7, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109, followed by a celebration of life service at 11:00 AM. Services will conclude with a burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Rev. Steve Housley of Eastern Meadows Church officiating.
