Voncile S Gardner

Voncile S. Gardner, age 90, of Wetumpka, Alabama passed away on Thursday, December 12th, 2024. She was preceded in death by her husband of 70 years, Kenneth Gardner, her mother, Effie Sheffield; her brothers, Adolph Sheffield, Roy Sheffield; her sisters Ann Rowe and Necie Slater and her brothers-in-law, Joe Rowe and Franklin D Menefee.

She is survived by her children, Tammie Kim (Mickey) Johnson, Angelia (James) Mason, Rennie Lane (Becky) Gardner and Kenneth Michael (Libby) Gardner; her grandchildren, Jeromy Mason, Tasha Richards, Ty Johnson, Katie (Daeyoung) Lim, Emily Gardner, Lauren (Blake) Brookshire, and Kenneth Noah (Mary Beth) Gardner; her great-grandchildren, Alyssa Hicks, Carlie Bouchillon, Collier Edward Brookshire, Mary Katherine Gardner.

Although Mom worked various jobs early in her life, when she married, her sole focus was on her children, providing a warm and loving home and her family/friends. Her family and time spent with them was most treasured by her. She cherished her church and family gatherings but most of all serving and loving others!

A family and friends’ visitation for Voncile will be held Tuesday, December 17th, 2024 from 10:00 am to 11:00 am at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.

Following the family and friends’ visitation will be a Celebration of Life Graveside at 11:00 am at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
