Verdelle McGaha Robbins, age 94, of Montgomery, Alabama passed away on Saturday, October 12, 2024. Verdelle was born in Castleberry, Alabama to William and Evie McGaha. One of 10 children, Verdelle was preceded in death by her parents as well as all her siblings. Mrs. Robbins was also preceded in death by her husbands, James C. Entrekin and Raymond D. Robbins. She is survived by her children, Barbara E. (Sid) Adams, Don (Shirley) Entrekin, Judy E. (David) Melton, and Greg (Elaine) Entrekin; her grandchildren, Chris (Patti) Adams, Elizabeth (Michael) Bechtel, Wendy Entrekin, Heath and Jonathan Melton; as well as two wonderful great grandchildren, Layney and Wyn Adams.
She will be remembered as a great woman of faith, prayer and love, an active member of Ridgecrest Baptist Church, an employee of Alabama Power, and a supportive mother/grandmother. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
A family graveside service for Verdelle will be held Friday, October 18, 2024 at 11:00 AM at Alabama Heritage Cemetery, 10505 Atlanta Highway, Montgomery, AL 36117.
