Steve was one of a kind who never met a stranger and always brought a smile to everyone’s face. His funny sense of humor kept everyone laughing, especially his wife who loved and adored him. He loved Auburn Football, hunting, fishing, grilling by the pool, watching NASCAR on Sunday, and especially living in the country and spending time in his man cave.
Steve loved his family more than anything and was an awesome big brother, mentor, and hero to Stephanie, Skip, and Shawna. He loved his kids more than life itself; he was so proud of them and beamed from ear to ear when talking about them, which was often. He lived life to the fullest and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
The family will receive friends from 1-2 pm Wednesday, December 6, 2023, at Leak Memory Chapel, located at 945 Lincoln Road in Montgomery, AL with a graveside service at 2 pm at Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Bob White, Ronnie Turner, Lee Turner, Joseph Ficken, Blake Cardwell, and Chuck Isbell.
