Ruby Jo Lanning, 78, of Greenville, MI passed away February 13, 2023 in Montgomery, AL.
A Celebration of Her Life will be held Thursday, March 9 at 3:00 p.m. at Capital Hill Healthcare, Montgomery, AL.
Ruby was born in Greenville to Gerald and Mildred Bolster on August 24, 1944. She graduated Greenville High School in 1962. She was a CNA before becoming a stay at home mom and in her late 50s found a renewed career as a home healthcare worker which she loved and continued until she moved to Montgomery in 2012. She enjoyed reading her Bible, movies, card games and spending time with family and friends.
Ruby is preceded in death by her husband Michael and her parents Gerald and Mildred. She is survived by her daughter Tammy, son in law Bill, grandchildren Michael, Austin and Ashlynn. She is also survived by her brother Jerry and sister in law Lynn as well as her niece Jeri Lynn and nephew Jason.
