I, in no way shape or form knew your father Roy in any way. From the things I have read it seems to me that he was a lot like my father. Which brings me to how I found your father. Mine passed away a year earlier than yours and while looking for my fathers obituary came across Roy's. My hearts and prayers go out to you and your family in your past grief and any that may come in the future.

Dear Mark & Cindy, Michael & Kirsten, Jason & Heather and all your little (now big) ones,
It was so good to speak to you by phone and hear the resolution in each of your voices that your relationship w/your dad was harmious and that while it was hard to say good-bye, it was said as peacefully as possible.  How wonderful for us as Christians to know that we're really saying, 'See you later'. 
I applaud all my cousins for living your lives with such mutual love and respect. (It's true, there's a lotta love in the Langley family). Indeed, "Love is the Key, the Golden Key." Thank you all for troubling yourselves to host the summer family reunions. I feel at peace with Uncle Roy's death since my last memory of him was just two years ago at Mark & Cindy's. I got to sit beside him at the piano and sing, 'Frogie Went a Courtin'. (My four grown children have the same happy childhood memory of Roy playing his guitar and singing along with them at Memi's cabin in Brantley).
Thank you all for taking such good care of my precious Uncle Roy and Aunt Greta - to the very end.  Please give Greta a big hug and kiss from me.

Sorry I did not know that Roy had died.  greta, you and your family are in mine and Robbie's thoughts and prayers.  We will miss Roy.  He was a good man.

When I think of Mr. Roy, I have to smile.  He had the biggest heart ever and loved to play the piano, sing, and eat dum dum lollipops.  I know he is making music in the heavenly choir now.  Comfort to Mrs. Greta (my heart) and to the family during this difficult time.
