Peggy Starling Abbott of Clanton, Alabama, passed away February 15, 2024, at the age of 74. She was born to Ike and Norma Longsine on March 24, 1949. Peggy was a graduate of Prattville High School. She was a lifelong member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
She was married to and survived by her husband, George Abbott. She loved her boys Harvey (Amanda) Starling, Robby (Lynn) Starling and Jimmy (Jennifer) Starling. Her favorite name to be called was "grandmaw" by her grand and great-grandchildren Darah Jackson, Patrick Threadgill, Casie Starling, Emily Starling, Bobby Starling, Jacob Starling, Taylor Bush and Aubrie Jackson.
She is also survived by her sister, Tina (Tim) Predue and brother Darrel Longsine.
She loved and was always working on crafts. Peggy would master every crafts she tried.
