I was so sorry to hear about Mike's passing away.  He was a great guy and was a wonderful member of the board of trustees here at Rowland Hall.  I enjoyed working with him and appreciated his support for the school.  I am so sorry.  He will be greatly missed.

Carolyn, Amanda and Frasier,

My sincere sympathy to all of you at this time. My brother (Roger) had many friends, but a few of the many were like brothers to me, Mike being one; I will cherish the 50+ years of memories, he will be missed.

I was a privilege to know Mike as a business associate and more so as a friend. Mike was a straight forward no BS guy with a great sense of humor and a fraternal relationship to his friends. Many counted on his generosity and kindness and he never let them down. He will be missed by all those that were fortunate enough to have had his friendship. So sorry to here of your loss, he will be missed. I worked for him from July of 1972 until Aug. of 2008 when they closed Standard Builders. Still miss that company and all those friends.
