Mary Ellen Sumner

She is preceded in death her father, Claude Eugene Ussery, and her mother Tommie Gray Ussery; brothers, Robert Ussery and Buddy Ussery; her beloved and first born son Robert Eugene Fincher Jr.

She is survived by her daughters Ronda Lambert, Paula Hill (Steve); son, Paul David Sumner, Jr. (Michelle); sisters, Sondra Auman, Judy Lockhart (JB); brother, Donald Ussery (Emily); grandchildren, Ashley Sims (Chuck), Holly Daniel, Amy Baldacci (Dom), Katelyn Sumner and Paul David Sumner III; great grandchildren Cal Sims, Isley Smith, Lola Sims, and a host of friends and special neighbors.

She was a member of Eastmont Baptist Church for over 45 years. She was a charming and lovely woman who you could always count on to hear a fascinating story from. She was loved and will be greatly missed.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at Leak Memory Chapel at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, September 29, 2022 with visitation beginning at 9:00 a.m.
