She is preceded in death by her husband, Barry Jordan. She is survived by her daughter, Hayden Alexandra Kelley; as well as her father, Robert Pruit; and her mother, Myra Pruit.
Lori’s favorite things were her family and her friends. She was the kind of person to talk with her loved ones for hours on the back porch. Lori was always the best listening ear, the best person to make you laugh when you’re sad and the most encouraging in times of need. She was truly a forever friend that everyone prays to have one day. She was known to love people and loved loving them! If she knew you were having a bad day or were going through something difficult, she would always go out of her way to make you feel seen, special and loved. Lori traveled and explored the world with her daughter, Hayden, loved to cook, read for hours, go shopping, and all things fashion. Anything and everything she got to do with her daughter, Hayden, was always her favorite thing to do. Lori was lively, beautiful, fun and had a heart of gold.
Her heart of gold and her love for people lead her to serve over 20 years of her life to abandoned and abused children through the Alabama Sherriff’s Youth Ranches. She last worked at Webster Henry Law Firm as a paralegal. Lori loved her job because of how much she got to work with people and because of her love for law. She valued her work friends as well as the lawyers she worked for. She got to do what she lived for, helping those in need.
Everyone who met Lori truly loved her. She made people belly laugh every day with her bubbly personality. Lori cared for and loved all she came across with her personality, heart of gold and selfless spirit. Everyone naturally gravitated toward her and loved to be nearby truly because of HER. Lori was an immensely special person who helped many and will be deeply missed.
