Leslie "Les" Boyd Nicholson

Mr. Nicholson is survived by his wife of 48 years Lisa, daughter Suzanne (Chris) Todd of Pelham; son Christopher (Kristie) of Mobile; his sister Lynn Nicholson of Birmingham, 10 grandchildren, and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents Patsy and Boyd Nicholson.

Les was born in Montgomery and graduated from Vestavia Hills 1973. He served as a police officer for UAB and then worked for the state for 30 years, retiring as a District Manager for the Revenue Dept. In the process of his law enforcement career, Les earned a degree in Criminal Justice and Accounting. He coached Dixie Youth Baseball in Montgomery and he loved to watch Alabama Sports, Atlanta Braves Baseball, and pro wrestling. His favorite pastimes were fishing, studying cryptozoology, and telling stories with his grandkids. He loved to grill and cook and would often come up with some crazy recipes to try.

A family and friends visitation for Les will be held Wednesday, March 15, 2023 at 1:00 PM at Leak Memory Chapel, 945 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109. Following the Family and Friends Visitation will be a a Celebration of Life Graveside at 2:00 PM at Greenwood Serenity Memorial Gardens, 909 Lincoln Rd, Montgomery, Alabama 36109.
