Kenneth Larry Braswell

BRASWELL, Larry, 68 of Wetumpka, AL, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Wednesday, December 10, 2014. Larry was born on December 2, 1946, in Eufaula, Alabama to Will and Lorna Braswell. Larry was the youngest of 8 children.

Larry is preceded in death by his wife, Deborah Ann Braswell, a new born baby, his parents, and 4 sisters.

He is survived by his son, Kenneth Will Braswell (Lora Lee) of Montgomery, AL; daughter, Felicia Ann Grantham (John) of Cataula, GA; two grandchildren, John Tyler Grantham and Gabi Ella Grantham, as well as three grand dogs, Rocky, Sam and Prissy Braswell. Larry is also survived by his brothers and sisters, Helen Sheffield, Jerry Braswell (Louise), Jean Wood (J.T.), Roberta Mathis (Johnny), Doug Williams (Kathy), Bo Williams and numerous nephews and nieces.

Visitation will be held at Alabama Heritage on Sunday, December 14, 2014 from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. A Celebration of Life will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, December, 15, 2014 at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Cordell officiating. Burial will follow at Alabama Heritage Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be Rick Sims, Pete Prescott, Randy Fortune, Don Baker, Doug Williams and Greg Singleton. Honorary pallbearers are Michael Rutledge and Effiy.
