Joey Carroll Wise

Joey C Wise, 63, a longtime resident of Montgomery, died peacefully at home on September 12, 2023. Joey grew up in Montgomery and went to Seth Johnson Elementary, Floyd Jr. High, and graduated from Carver Sr. High. He was a hard-working professional supervising warehouses for several companies. He was passionate about his friends and family. Joey was an avid Alabama fan and loved to watch the games with his friends. He was passionate about his grand-son Cole, going to baseball and soccer games. He also coached his son Zach in baseball for many years.

Joey went to Ridgcrest Baptist Church and developed many life-long friendships over the years. He was a kind and compassionate man and liked to help people. His free spirit allowed him to not meet a stranger. Fun adventures and loving life was what he was all about. Him loving life was one of his strongest attributes.

He was preceded in death by his father Fonteil Wise, his wife Suzanne Wise, and Son Zachary Wise. He is survived by his mother, Catherine Wise, Brothers Gary Wise and TR Wise, Daughter in law Stephanie Wise Davenport (Cody), Grandson Cole Wise.

Viewing services are scheduled for Friday September 15th from 5:00 pm to 7:00 pm. The Life Celebration Service will start at 10:00 am on Saturday September 16th followed by a grave side service. All Services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel.
