Mr. Sheldon Metcalf passed away on Saturday, December 20, 2014 at Baptist Medical Center South. He is preceded in death by his wife, Kim Peacock Metcalf and father, Billy Darden Metcalf. He is survived by his daughter and son-in-law, Kimberly and Isaac Stackhouse; mother, Clarice Metcalf; and sister, Teresa Ferrell (Billy) and Tina Styslinger (Joe). Funeral service will be held 10:00 AM Wednesday, December 24, 2014 at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home with Rev. John Schmidt officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends Tuesday night at the funeral home from 5-7 PM. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Kirklin Clinic at the University of Alabama at Birmingham.
