Jerry Russell Mallory, 81, passed away December 21, 2020 in Prattville, Alabama. Born to Leslie Merritt Mallory and Katie Venira Mallory of Alabama in 1939, he was known as a salesman for most of his working life. Jerry is survived by his sons, Jerry K. Mallory and Tobey L. Mallory; grandchildren, Dana (DeVry) Clark, Joshua L. Mallory, Tabitha E. Mallory; great grandchildren, Peighton Clark and Emerly Clark. He also leaves behind his brother, James L. (Carol) Mallory and nephew, Ashley Mallory.
A faithful member of East Memorial Baptist Church, Mr. Mallory was also a member of the American Legion. He sold insurance and cars but he was also known for caring for pets. He never met a stray cat he couldn't win over.
A visitation for Jerry is set for Saturday, January 2, 2021 in Leak Memory Chapel followed by a Celebration of Life Chapel service officiated by Rev. Glenn Graham. Services will conclude with a burial in Greenwood Cemetery. Online condolences may be shared at: www.Leak-MC.com.
