Mrs. McGough was born to the late Claude Wilfred Owens and Mary Fannie Carr Owens of Montgomery, Alabama. She was a member of Millbrook Baptist Church and retired from the State of Alabama. She was a very loving mother and grandmother.
She was preceded in death by her parents, three siblings, her husband Lige McGough, her first husband and father of her children, Paul Harrell, Jr., and three grandchildren, Melissa, Christina, and Harrell.
She is survived by her children Felecia Rivers (Talon), Mary Moore, Shirlene Perez, Angelia Edwards (Kirk), and Richard Harrell; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
A family and friends visitation for Helen will be held Saturday, February 24, 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at White Chapel-Greenwood Funeral Home, 909 Lincoln Road, Montgomery, AL 36109, followed by a celebration of life chapel service at 2:00 PM.
