Gary Astion Reynolds

He is preceded in death by his father, Paul Reynolds; and grandmother, Emma Reynolds.

He is survived by his daughter, Alyssa Reynolds; mother, Becky Hawkins; pop, Carey Hawkins; sister, Ashlee Brashear (Cody); Step-brother, Andrew Hawkins; Uncle, Bill Bowser (Pearlie); Aunt, Emily Bowser; Uncle, Zack Butler; Aunt, Amanda Hall; Aunt, Paula Crosby (Wayne); grandparents, Gary and Lisa Bowser and Bill and Beth Boyd; Nancy Gray-Gary’s wounded warrior companion, his buddy, and sister in arms; and his best friends, Marley and Lola . A visitation will be held at Leak Memory Chapel on Sunday, April 30, 2017 from 1:00-2:00PM with a Celebration of Life beginning at 2:00PM. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery. Pallbearers include: Jacob Rizzo, Nicolas Rizzo, Cody Brashear, Mike Armstrong, Nick Martin, Caleb Hawk, Jim Gonzalez, and Emilio Rodriguez. Honorary Pallbearers include: Brandon Smith. Gary was a Veteran serving 27 months in Iraq. He lost his battle with significant wounds from combat. Gary was a man of intense patriotism, great moral and physical strength, and tremendous resilience who never allowed his wounds to subdue his unconquerable spirit. Gary will be dearly missed by all who loved him but we are at peace knowing Gary is in Heaven now and mind and body are 100%. As Gary would say, “So good”.
