Claude Winford “Win” Lansdon, 92, passed away December 29, 2019. He is preceded in death by his parents, Claude and Mollie Lansdon; sister, Bessie Jackson Sowell and son in law, Roger Poole. He is survived by his wife of 75 years, Erin Kennedy Lansdon; daughters, Sheron L. Poole, Pratha L. Harrison (Wayne) and Wendy L. McQueen (Reggie); grandchildren, Amy H. Bryan (Darren), Donna P. McKinney (Mark), Bill Poole (Susan), Daniel McQueen (Jeanne), Christopher “Red” McQueen (Krissa). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren and 7 great great grandchildren.
Mr. Lansdon is a native of Greenville, Al. He served in the US Army and retired from CSX Railroad with 35 years of service.
A graveside service will be held Wednesday, January 1, 2020 at 10:00 AM at Greenwood Cemetery with a visitation one hour prior at Leak Memory Chapel.
