BROWDER, Charles Evans, 61, a resident of Cecil, AL, died Sunday, August 25, 2013. Preceded in death by his sister, Katherine Barkley, and his brother, Buddy Browder, he is survived by his wife, Hilda Cooper Browder; his daughters, Heather Browder Sickman (Tom), Hilary Browder, and Holly Browder Long (Aaron); his sons, Vergie Glenn Browder, II (Shelly) and Charles Evans Browder, Jr.; sister, Mary Glenn Browder Cocergine (Sergy) and Tina Browder McInnis (Sonny); grandchildren, Trent and Cody Sickman, Isabella and Glenn Browder, Zebedee Long, Amber and John Guthrie. His Visitation will be held on Wednesday, August 28, 2013, from 5 – 7 pm, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, followed by his Funeral Service on Thursday, August 29, 2013, at 2 pm, at Alabama Heritage Funeral Home, with Chaplin Larry Davidson officiating. Interment will follow in Alabama Heritage Cemetery. Mr. Browder was CEO of Browder Veneer Works, Inc., which recently celebrated its 75th anniversary, was an avid hunter, and actively involved in the Wounded Warrior Hunt of the Iron Men Outdoor Ministries, Inc., where the family requests memorials.
