Betty Linn Owens

Mrs. Betty L. Owens, age 91, a longtime resident of Montgomery, AL, and recently of Tuscaloosa, AL, died Saturday, August 27, 2022. A 2:00 p.m. grave side service will be held Thursday, September 1, at Greenwood Cemetery with Leak Memory directing and Rev. Vial Fontenot officiating. A 1:00 p.m. visitation with family and friends at Leak Memory will precede the grave side service.

Betty was much loved by her family and friends. She worked as a nurse for 27 years and was always willing to be of service to others, accompanied by her quick wit and a song to lift their spirits. She is preceded in death by her husband, Charlie J; her daughter, Alexia Blake; and grandson, Stacy Blake. She is survived by her daughter, Pam Gross and her husband Bob; her son-in-law Barry Blake; grandchildren Bobby Gross, Chuck Gross and his wife Kristy, and Paige Leftwich; great grandchildren Rob Gross and his wife Kaetlyn, Michael Gross and his wife Abby, Matt Gross, Michelle Gross, Mackenzie Gross, Luke Gross, Katherine Leftwich and Taylor Leftwich.

Active pallbearers are Bobby Gross, Chuck Gross, Rob Gross, Michael Gross, Matt Gross and Luke Gross.
