Annie Clyde Luckie

Funeral services will be held at Leak Memory Chapel at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, July 17, 2023, with visitation from 10:00 a.m. until service time. Burial will follow at Antioch West Baptist Church Cemetery in Bolling, Alabama.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry Donald Luckie, Sr. and Myrtle Cooper Luckie, her brothers Harry D. Luckie, Jr. and Billy W. Luckie, and her sister-in-law Joanne Luckie. She is survived by her siblings, Robert E. (Bobby) Luckie, Sr. (Inez) and Merle L. Johnson (Phil), her sister-in-law Mae Luckie, and several nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews.

Annie Clyde was born in Hillwood, Alabama, and raised in Bolling, Alabama. She chose bookkeeping as her vocation and worked the majority of her life in Montgomery before retiring from the state of Alabama. She loved going barefoot, gardening, reading, and studying her Bible. She was the matriarch of her family and loved her family and friends with her whole heart. She made everyone feel welcome and was a role model to all on how to treat other with kindness.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations be made to her favorite charity, St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
