Mrs. Ann Gilmer Webster “Meme”, 92, went to be with the Lord on December 18, 2016. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, Richard Albert Webster, of 57 years; her parents, Edward D. and Adell Jones Gilmer; her sister Margaret G. Knox; and brother Edward D. Gilmer, Jr.
She is survived by her son Richard “Rick” A. Webster, Jr. (Dana) and daughter Becky W. Adams (Jerry), two granddaughters Jennifer W. Gibbs (Zac) and Keri A. Ward and three great grandchildren, Gunner, Hudson, and Turner Gibbs. Ann served as a volunteer at Jackson Hospital for 25 years where she met a special friend, Mr. Otis Marshall who preceded her in death. Visitation will be at Alabama Heritage on December 21st from 10:00 to 11:00 am with graveside service at Rocky Mount Cemetery in Highland Home, AL at 2:00 pm with Rev. Joe Lizenby officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Frazer UMC Missions or In Christ Way (Frazer UMC) where she was a member.
