Willie Thomas Holifield, age 93, of Randolph, Alabama, passed away on March 26, 2023. He was preceded in death by his wife, Marverine Hamm Holifield; brother, Ralph Holifield; and sisters, Vivienne Tidwell and Doris Bamberg. He has two sons, Jeff Holifield (Geni) and Don Holifield; grandchildren, Daniel Holifield (Katie), Justin Holifield (Julie), Hannah Flack (Michael), and Michael Holifield; sister, Elizabeth “Lib” Holifield Rudder (Bobby); and sister-in-law, Ada Jean Tubbs Holifield.
Willie served in the US Army during the Korean War. He went on to become an electronic technician for Southern Natural Gas. In 1970, he opened a TV repair shop, Homewood Electronics.
A Celebration of Life will be held on Sunday, April 2, 2023 from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Rockco Funeral Home (Montevallo). He will be laid to rest at Elmwood Cemetery in a private ceremony.
