Larry Martin Galloway

Larry Martin Galloway, age 86, of Montevallo, Alabama passed away on Friday, December 2, 2022. surrounded by his loved ones after a battle with Alzheimer's. He was born on September 17th, 1936 to the parents of Alonzo Clay Galloway and Rozella (Martin) Galloway.

Following high school graduation, he joined the U.S. Air Force in 1958. After active duty, he continued on as a civilian for the Air Force and retired with 40 years of service. His career took him to every continent in the world before returning home to Alabama where he enjoyed many outdoor activities including building his own golf course.

In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his two brothers, Jack Galloway and Olen Galloway. He is survived by his longtime partner Janice Moore; son Dan Galloway; sister Rylene Harris; brothers Rance Galloway and Bud Galloway; along with a number of extended family members.

A visitation for Larry will be held Sunday, December 11, 2022 at 1:00 at Rockco Funeral Home, 3715 Highway 25, Montevallo, Alabama 35115 followed by a funeral service from 2:00 P.M. - 3:00 P.M. He will be laid to rest at the Alabama National Cemetery.
