Helen Odell Hinton Parsons was born on November 22, 1951. She passed away on December 10, 2017. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jerry Parsons; her parents, Lando and Alvie Hinton, and her sister, Brenda Comer. She is survived by her children, one daughter, Tawanna Parsons; four sons, Danny (Melissa), David (Amy), Shannon, and Jeffery (Jessica); one brother, Jerry Hinton, eight grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and a host of cousins, nieces, and nephews. There will be a visitation for Helen on Wednesday, December 13, at Old Union Baptist Church in Randolph from 10:15 – 11:00 am, with her funeral service to follow. Burial will be in Old Union Baptist Cemetery.
