Dominga Lozano, age 71, of Montevallo, Alabama passed away on Sunday, November 10, 2024. A true warrior, she succumbed to kidney failure after many years on dialysis.
She was born in Monterrey, Mexico, one of nine children. After many love letters, she moved to Alabama to start her family with her true love, Rogelio, and live their American dream. She was a proud Mama to two beautiful sons and Abuela to five grandchildren. She loved crocheting, watching telenovelas and spending time with her family.
She is survived by her husband, Rogelio Lozano; sons, Enrique Chavez (Cynthia Sandoval) and Jose Lozano (Caroline); grandson, Nayb Chavez; granddaughters, Yazmin Chavez, America Chavez, Nicole Chavez and Ariana "Chaparrita" Chavez; and extended family in Mexico.
