We are so sorry to hear of Aunt Ginny's passing and at the same time, glad that we had been calling her and enjoying many conversations about the families and past re-unions. It was always a pleasure and she brightened our day. Our belief is that she rests in the palms of the hands of our Lord and that she is comforted by loved ones, especially Uncle Tom - And that she hears all of our loving prayers to help her in her new journey. In times of great sorrow and feeling of loss, it can be our toughest struggle to simply look up.  Our body language mirrors our strongest thoughts and deepest feelings.  Your Mom, Aunt Ginny, was a beautiful woman with a wonderful sense of humor, quick wit and willingness to laugh. Her door was always open and family meant ‘life’ to her. Some of our fondest memories are family reunions at the Hopkins with the pool, Volleyball in the front yard, great BBQ, talent shows, and loving people. 
Thank you for allowing us to be there in spirit to say, ‘Until we meet again, Aunt Ginny…give a big hug to Uncle Tommy’  We’ll be thinking of you both with love and gratitude as we look up and remember.

There are no words suitable to comfort you as you grieve for your beautiful mother and friend to so many. Aunt Ginny was a blessing to the Messinger family and I'm sure everyone who knew her. Sometimes things happen for a reason and we aren't even aware of it. God works in mysterious ways and we just listen and trust Him. Thoughts and prayers are with you today and during the dark days ahead. Please know we are grieving for her but know she has found a place in heaven with her beloved husband; together once again. Her memory will live in our hearts forever, as we reflect on her beautiful smile, energetic determination, and her kind and loving ways. Your Mom will be deeply missed. We are so grateful to have shared in so many Family Reunions with the Hopkins. We had so much fun at your beautiful home BBQing swimming in your pool, playing the slot machines and just having fun visiting with all of our cousins, aunts and uncles. We'll always remember these special times we had together.  We miss you Aunt Ginny and your sweet laughter.  With all our loving thoughts and prayers.
