Margaret P. Holland was born to the union of Frederick H. Purdy & Amy D. Carlile in NY on Sept. 25, 1932 and died peacefully on Feb. 27, 2013 in Temple City. Beloved wife to Leland Jr., she was the consummate caregiver, not only for her daughter, but for countless others. She became very active with Ability First, The Temple City Republican Party, and Pasadena City College, where she pursued credentials to work in the home care industry. Margaret is survived by her daughter, Elizabeth Lee Holland. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Margaret’s name to: Ability First, Attn: Crown House, 1300 E. Green St., Pasadena, CA 91106.
