Her family lived in Tulsa before moving to Houston, Missouri in 1950. Judith attended Houston High School. She was involved in many activities along with helping to publish the 1953 yearbook.
She met her future husband, Frank, in their sophomore year of high school. They were on their way home from the sophomore picnic on a school bus when they noticed each other. They were married after their high school graduation on May 30, 1953, at the first Baptist Church in Houston, Missouri. Frank Served four years in the United States Navy and Judith followed Frank to his different naval posts.
Their oldest daughter, Sandra, was born in 1956 and Claudia, their second child was born in 1958 while Frank was in the Navy. After their time in the Navy, they moved to Mounds, Oklahoma. While living in Mounds, their third child, Tillis, was born in 1963. They moved to Eastern Washington in 1964, then to North Dakota for two years then back to Monroe, Washington.
Judith had traveled to many states in the United States from Maine to Hawaii either because of Frank’s employment or in their travel trailer in retirement years bringing along Judith’s puppy, Abby.
Judith was very involved with her three children and followed that by being very involved with her seven grandchildren. She took care of all seven grandchildren during the day while their parents worked. She drove them to soccer games, volunteered at their schools, and would load all seven grandchildren in her station wagon after school and take them for ice cream. The summers at grandma’s house were filled with crafts, hours playing outside and sleepovers. She has a special bond and love with each of her grandchildren.
Judith was a member of the First Baptist Church in Monroe, Washington where she enjoyed bible study and Joy Club. She also belonged to the Red Hat Group.
Judith is survived by her husband, Frank, of 70 years, their daughter, Sandra Johnson and her two children, Mandy Hereth (Karl) and Tyler Albery.
