Glen Elwood Palmer, born January 20, 1962, with twin sister Gail Palmer, in Seattle, WA, to Milo and Gladys Palmer; departed this life on September 27, 2024 in Monroe, WA, at the age of 62; after a very long hard fought battle against stage 4 renal failure. Glen proudly served his country in the US Navy as an RP1, Sea duty on the USS Concord, and Admiral Staff at the Chaplain Resource Board in Norfolk, VA. After his honorable discharge from active duty, Glen finished his Naval career as a Reservist with the Marine Corp, station in Eugene, OR. After that, Glen received his BA of Business Science from Western Govenors University, before retiring as an MSA for the Roseburg VA. Glen is survived by his loving wife of 40 years, Janet, his daughter Kristina and her husband Nathan Davis, his son Michael Palmer and his wife Cassie, and seven beautiful grandchildren. Glen was a loving husband, devout father and grandfather, and pillar to his community. Glen’s quirky sense of humor, passion, and loving integrity will be deeply missed by all who knew him. Glen will be laid to rest at the Roseburg VA’s National Cemetery in Roseburg, Oregon on Friday, October 18, 2024 at 2:00PM.
